  1. Hi, I'm new here so: Hello!

I'm working on a project in which I use the Z5 slow motion mode for the first time. When reviewing the shot material I noticed that in slomo mode –although the slow motion itself looks great– the quality of the image seems to drop drastically. Google didn't help me much. Anyone know if this is a known issue and if there's a way around this? Thanks.

In Slo Mo mode, the Z5 records 200 fps bursts for 3, 6 or 12 seconds to RAM in quarter size standard def, then upscales to 1440x1080i when writing to tape. The other factor that could affect image quality is the fast shutter needed to record 200 fps.
