  1. Hi,

I want to put all the video and audio data currently contained in an avi container into an mp4 container because of the better tagging facilities so I can get an organised set of video files.

I am not looking to transcode in any way.

I have used quicktime with 3ivx to save all the data in an avi file in a .mov container. VLC plays the resulting video fine but WMP does not. I thought I might have more luck with an mp4 container but don't know how to do it?

Any suggestions how I could do this?

    Thanks

  2. Try Yamb.

But, do you have a DirectShow MP4 file reader/splitter installed? WMP needs that to recognize that MP4 is an A/V container.

  3. I have found My MP4Box GUI to be much less buggy than Yamb.
