Panasonic BDT300 bluray player doesn't play some mkv files

I have Panasonic BDT300 bluray player - however, it doesn't play some mkv files thru USB. It just says "starting playpack" then nothing appearing on the screen whereas these files works on PC properly. I wrote the problem to Matroska but their suggestions (run with mkwdclean) also did not work. Do you have any idea what could be the reason?
I would like to know if anyone has such an experience?
