  1. I hope I'm asking the right question, but thank god I have pictures.

    I was editing one time and I accidentally clicked something (that I'm not sure what it was) and now there is no video line on the track.

    Here is what I mean:

    That's just on the audio line, the video preview still works like in this picture:

    So yeah, does anyone know what I did? Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

    Go to Preferences, Video tab, and set thumbnails to "head,center,tail", instead of "None".

    also in your first screenshot there can't be any video as you have the video track starting 8 seconds after the audio does and you have the cursor at 0 seconds so NO video is even on the timeline yet.
