Hi,
Any thoughts on which Multimedia Hard Drive is the best out there?
I am planning Ripping my DVD/BD collection and utilising DLNA for Streaming over a Network (Wired) to Blu Ray Players/TV's. I want to get away from a "Media PC".
I have found some suitable devices but was wondering whether anyone had any thoughts about them or potential ones I have missed?
LaCie LaCinema Classic HD
WD TV Live Plus
WD TV Live Hub
Seagate GoFlex TV
Any thoughts?
Regards
J
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

The WD players are good (I have a first generation one I still use) but note that they don't support HD audio such as Dolby Lossless and DTS-HD. If you rip the AC3 core or DTS core from your BD discs then you'll be fine but if you need HD audio support those are probably not going to be what you want. I have no experience with LaCle or Seagate.

Thanks jman.
I have just stumbled across A.C Ryan and their PlayOn! models.

This does appear to support HD Audio and so far has decent reviews. I might look into this a little further!
