I am looking for an easier way to do this. Currently I convert my DVDs to mkv with this process:
open AnyDVD
run DVD Decrypter with stream processing to just 1 video and audio track in a vob
run chapterXtractor to get the chapters as txt file
merge vob and txt into an mkv with mkvmerge gui
Like I said, I would like to get the DVD to m2ts. I can get the audio and video from the vob into an m2ts with tsmuxer but tsmuxer doesnt accept txt chapter files, and i dont even know where to start with getting subtitles (forced) in there.
Which program(s) make this easiest?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Streaming with what to what? Need more specifics.
You should be able to just stream an iso as is. Have you used ps3mediaserver, playon or tversity? They would be able to transcode the iso for you.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
