  1. Hi all. I hope to post the right place. I use VirtualDUbMod to capture my files and the problem is the Audio encoding. The natural source of video is MPEG2, but when I encode the video, i want to encode the audio.Below is a small video sample I made. The information I got from the Media Info.

    Video

    Audio
    ID : 1
    Format : PCM
    Format settings, Endianness : Little
    Format settings, Sign : Signed
    Codec ID : 1
    Codec ID/Hint : Microsoft
    Duration : 2mn 5s
    Bit rate mode : Constant
    Bit rate : 1 536 Kbps
    Channel(s) : 2 channels
    Sampling rate : 48.0 KHz
    Bit depth : 16 bits
    Stream size : 23.0 MiB (47%)
Interleave, duration : 40 ms (1.00 video frame)
Interleave, preload duration : 500 ms

As you can see the audio encoding is so big. What should I do to succeed audio encoding to 128kbps?

    Many thanks!

  2. Streams -> Stream List
right click on stream -> Full Processing Mode
right click on stream -> Compression... select codec and configure, eg. LameACM, 128 kbps

  3. Many thanks for the info. Installed Lame3, and then restarted VirtualDubMod. The Lame3 appeared.
