  1. I have downloaded a range of YouTube videos as MP4 files.
I would like to combine them into one file and see help for that on the Internet.
Is there any free software that is recommended to combine MP4 files?

Will I be able to play the combined MP4 file on a DVD player or will the file have to be converted to another format?
I have a several-year-old DVD player that says it handles MP3 and WMA format.

    Thanks for the help.

Your player doesn't support mp4 with h264 video so you must reconvert to dvd-video with dvd flick or avstodvd or avi divx/xvid(if your player suppports it) with winff or xmedia recode .

You can try join the mp4s with mymp4boxgui.
