Don't worry, I read the threads and fixed the whole invert audio/QT fix that so many had issues (I think) with but now I'm getting a massive error and don't know where it's coming from or why. Any help would be appreciated.

I have no idea what the errors mean, or if it is due to the version of ffmpeg that ffmpegX uses.
Will ffmpegX convert the clip to any other format? Perhaps using a mencoder preset?

Well based on another thread suggest and Case, I first converted to IPOD h.264 640W and then to FLV and that seems to work pretty good. Still don't know what's going on with MOV to FLV?

The difference between default FLV encoding and default iPod encoding is a setting in the Options tab, which can be active or inactive and is in fact optional.

FLV encoding have "Decode with QT" de-selected by default, and iPod encodings have it selected by default. What this does, is that ffmpegX "asks" QuickTime to read the source video behind the scenes, and deliver the YUV frames to ffmpegX. So, for H.264 video that QuickTime can read, but this version of ffmpeg can not read without errors, this makes a huge difference.

You may try again MOV to FLV with this option selected, just to see if it works okay now.

Checking the Decode with QT seems to work on most of my MOV files but not all. I'm not sure what differs in some of the files that won't allow for a direct MOV to FLV conversion. I'm comparing my MOV files to see if I can detect any differences but as of now I'm happy that I can get a FLV file by some means. Thanks.
