HI.
I have some old vhs tapes that i am digitizing, however they suffer from the saturation levels changing throughout the footage. Sometimes the video is fine while sometimes it is almost black and white or the hue/phase is off. Is there anything like a signvideo image enhancer or proc that will stabilize the video signals or would it have to be done in software individually for each frame, or each affected area. Sometimes it is the whole frame, other times it is just parts of the frame, also sometimes can just flicker or last a few seconds. This is a second generation copy so I don't know if it is the result of the copy or the original tape had these problems as the original is lost. It is not a factory video so i doubt it would be copy protection. I also have a canopus advc 300 if that could help.
Thanks
mark
