    I need to embed mov file in html so how to check what is the original size of this file? Quicktime does not show it (I don't have Pro) and in VLC player I can't find it.

    Quicktime (Pro not required): Movie->Properties->Size

    VLC (while playing): Tools->Media Information->Codec details

    THanks! I used mediainfo and it does the job, VLC shows it too - I didn't notice before. But in Quicktime, I don't even have the Movie menu, only file, edit, view, window and help - and most options are blocked.

    My Quicktime player is fairly old, and it's in Spanish.
    Perhaps your View menu is what I called Movie (Pelicula in Spanish), or maybe this option is no longer available without the Pro version.
