  1. I have a Sony VX200 and the results of artificial light shooting have been disappointing so far despite advertised low light capability. I will in future be investing in better lighting but which will give me the best results - capturing direct to PC using the firewire connection or capturing on tape and then digitising it?

    Better than what? It is the digital data from the tape.
