    Hi,

Is there a way to use avisynth plugins/filters within virtualdub? Like a .vdf plugin?

  2. You can use any avisynth filter/plugin in vdub with an .avs script

Some specific avisynth filters have .vdf equivalents, but most are not represented

MeGUI is fairly easy to use and use the script like a driver for virtualfub

    Write the AVS script.
    See http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/Getting_started

Then open it with VDub from its file menu.

To add to the above answers and to avoid any misunderstanding:

You cannot directly use an Avisynth plugin as a filter within VirtualDub.
What you can do is use an Avisynth script as the input file to VDub.
In that script you would use Avisynth commands to open your original video file and apply the Avisynth plugin to it.

VirtualDub will not know anything about the plugin - it will not show up in the list of filters and you cannot put other VDub filters before it in the filter chain.
