    Component wont output to my Apex TV. (Yes its hooked up correctly), I tried same setup on another TV using same component wires and works on the other TV. Any idea why its not on this one?

    its on auto, i didn't really think that would make a difference since im using the component cables, i guess i could try that.

    The regular video output works fine...

    If the "APex TV" is standard def, it will only receive 480i over analog component.

    A TV model number would help.

    so im looking for hdmi cables i see they have net jack or silver plated at monoprice which shall i get?

    I'd go with the silver plated but any will work.

    But 24 gauge is going to be stiff, intended for inside wall runs.

    28 gauge is more flexible and fine for short lengths (<15 ft) but higher loss in long runs.

    Net Jacket refers to cable outer cover.

    Ferrite cores are intended to block RF interference.
