    Hi guys

I wanted to know how can I merge subtitles to video files
The subtitles are in .srt and the video in .vob
I want that the output file is also in .vob

    Thanks

    PS
I'm not english. I'm a 14-year-old portuguese, so sorry for my bad english =S

Are you making a new DVD? Because a vob file should only be part of dvd structure(vob, ifo files). You can author a new dvd(vob, ifo) with the srt subtitles.

Or have you made a "fake" vob with mkv2vob?

Yes, I'm doing a DVD, with multiple episodes each. But I hadn't found any method easiest and fastest than this one =S

The files that I have in the folder VIDEO_TS are these:
    • VIDEO_TS.bup VIDEO_TS.ifo VIDEO_TS.vob VTS_01_0.bup VTS_01_0.ifo VTS_01_0.vob VTS_01_1.vob VTS_02_0.bup VTS_02_0.ifo VTS_02_0.vob VTS_02_1.vob VTS_03_0.bup VTS_03_0.ifo VTS_03_0.vob VTS_03_1.vob VTS_04_0.bup VTS_04_0.ifo VTS_04_0.vob VTS_04_1.vob

    Thanks

But does that method works with multiple video files in one DVD?

Is that those methods evolve several copies of the same file, and I wanted maximum one copy (the final video file)
So I wanted to merge .vob to .srt (or .sup) in one step

Can you tell me something that works?

  5. You'll have to apply the procedure for each episode separately. I recommend the Method 2 of Baldrick's guide. Later on, if you like, you can merge all the episodes together using DVD Shrink. I don't really see the point in doing that, though.
