I'm working with .m2ts file recorded using the Hauppauge HD-PVR. I edit out the commercials using Videoredo, and then author to blu-ray discs using Cyberlink Power Director 8.

While editing in Videoredo, I notice that sometimes the timecode is not continuous. For example, my files are at 30 fps and I'll notice that the timecode will jump from (SS:FF) 05:28 to 06:02.
I'm not missing any video frames in between (I re-recorded the same program and compared to make sure). So when I play the file using VLC, I don't notice any problem.

However, I wanted to know if it could creates issues down the road, while authoring for example or playing on a tv set ? Should I worry that the timecode is skipping, even though all the frame are there ?
If there's an issue, what can I do to fix the timecode ?
