I have a few avi movies that are quite large in size i.e. 1500mb
I would like to reduce them to around 700 or 800 mb.

Is there a program that would save me doing what i am now, which is.....

use dvdflick to convert to dvd ...then dvd shrink to convert to iso image ....
then use fair use to reduce finished size...

    probably crazy for you pro's,

But it works for me,it just takes soooo long.

Thank for all your help over the last year...much appreciated

Yep, that's crazy. Shrink the avi directly, use for example autogk or avirecomp. Open avi, choose xvid or divx codec. Set the output file size. Convert.
