  1. I want to buy a burner to rip my Blu-rays, that way I can have all my movies on a Single computer and not have to rifle through them and deal with all the discs. I was wondering if I will lose quality if i do Rip it ( I am not concerned with space).

    Thank You

  2. If all you're doing is decrypting the movies to the hard drive then, no, you won't lose quality. You'll get an exact copy of what's on the disc, minus the encryption.

Before you get started do note the following.
    1) Many software BluRay players will refuse to play BluRay rips from a hard disk. Hollywood demanded that the software have this "feature" and the manufacturers have all or almost all meekly complied.
    2) If you're not going to use a PC to play these rips then you need to be sure that whatever you've got will play them. Most streaming media players won't play BluRay rips or will only do so if you rip the video in very specific ways.
