    Hello, everybody.

In my SETUP the Boot Sequence is:

    1 - DVD
    2 - Hard Disk
    3 ---
    4 ---

but when I put the CD Windows XP SP3 and reboot the PC, it doesn't boot from the CD.

    What must I do?

    Cheers.

The CD XP functions in other PCs. So it's not bad.
Anyway I made a new copy but the problem maintains.
With the Windows XP SP2 there are no problems!

  5. Probably DVD/CD drive not functional correct with specific type of media.
If computer have DVD drive, try burn it to DVD media not CD.
And try boot from DVD media

    Could be a BIOS issue.

In PC's I have seen, I have to hit a key when instructed to 'Boot from CD' during start-up. If that instruction times out then the PC boots from the next drive in the chain - the HDD

On some systems where the disc is ignored and enters os you can temporarily disable the hard drive as a bootable device to allow repairs or reinstall to be carried out ... should the system require a reboot to continue simply re-enter bios and re-enable the hard drive as a boot option.

Remember you are talking about "multiple systems" where two other units have no problem but this system dose ... it may simply be that the drive on this unit requires updated firmware or is picky about the media brand being used.
