    Hi everyone,
I'm new here and in need of help

I have 2 .MKV files I need to join. I have downloaded MKVtoolNix. However it doesn't have a GUI and I'm having some issues figuring how to use the command line...
I usually don't have much of a problem with command line since I do a lot of web programming but somehow I do have a problem with this one:
    mkvmerge -o out [global options] [options1] <file1> [@optionsfile ...] <file2> [@optionsfile ...]
    so I don't need any particular options I just want to join the 2 files together and I used this:mkvmerge -o batmanbegins.mkv </Volumes/WD\ HD/Movies/Batman/Batman\ Begins\ 1080p/Batman.BeginsDisk.1.mkv> </Volumes/WD\ HD/Movies/Disk.2.mkv>
Could you please correct my mistakes? it would really be appreciated!
    Thank You!

This the message I am getting:
Error: The source file '{/Volumes/WD HD/Movies/Batman/Batman Begins 1080p/BatmanBeginsDisk1.mkv}' could not be opened successfully, or retrieving its size by seeking to the end did not work.
MKV file are working and there are no errors when I open them in VLC...

The gui for MKVtoolNix is the .exe file MMG.exe.
It is one of the files included when you download MKVtoolNix and can be found in the folder with the rest of the files.

I'm on a Mac and I posted in the Mac section so a ".exe" file isn't really useful here, thanks for the try though :P

Don't use the brackets {< >}, and use a + sign to append files.
    mkvmerge -o full.mkv file1.mkv + file2.mkv

    Thank you so much!
In case anyone would look for the answer it's actually: mkvmerge -o full.mkv file1.mkv +file2.mkv
