Difficulties - MPEG Stream Clip says are no video streams available. HDtv2dvd I haven't worked-out how to load a file yet!!!. ProjectX says cannot find sequence header (also missing PMT map). HD Converter says analysis failed at line 45. VideoReDo says missing PMT map.

The breed of .ts is from a Humax HD Fox T2 DVB-T box - a firmware upgrade turned it into a PVR: (as originally bought, it was just a DVB-T box not able to record).

    Wassup?

Can you play it? If VLC can play it you can try reconvert with it, Media->Convert/Save.
Tried any ffmpeg frontend like xmedia recode?
What does mediainfo say? VIdeo and audio codecs?

MediaInfo says it is BDAV - with no PAT/PMT

TSConverter from DVBPORTAL.de makes 0 byte MPEG files with it.

XmediaRecode analyses the file, but stays at 0% complete, before giving up.

VLC will not play, neither does WinFF.

AVIdemux says "this looks like MPEG" then cannot open the .ts file.

    Help... !

Can smplayer open it? What about tsmuxer ? or dgindex or dgavcindex ?

Maybe your firmware upgrade doesn't work so well...

The .ts file from the Humax HD Fox T2 PVR is copy-protected. This is why you could not re-code it.
I am also desperately looking for a program that can let me remove the copy protection from the ts file.
If any one has a workaround or knows any program that works please just share with us here.
    Thanks!!!
