I have a HD media player (Popcorn Hour C-200) and a few pc's that are using a Panasonic Ethernet adapter http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/shop/Computers-Networking/IP-Networking...702#tabsection. They are also using a LINKSYS EZXS55W 10/100Mbps network switch. Would I be better of with N wireless usb adapter and using a NETGEAR GS605 10/100/1000Mbps giabit switch? 3. Powerline ethernet adapters??? For VIDEO??? No Freaking Way in Hell. Wired gigabit would be best, N-class wireless next. I would use two paper cups and some string before I would go with a powerline adapter setup.

Who is this "they" you are speaking of with a 10/100 switch? Is this equipment YOU are using, or does this not apply at all to your situation? Use a gigabit switch, even if your wiring doesn't support it, which I don't think powerline adapters do. Not sure, and don't care, use a gigabit switch anyway.
