    Hi,

I'm using VirtualDub to add MSU Cartoon Restore and brightness/contrast filters to MP4 video file (350MB) and when i want to compression the video using Xvid MPEG-4 Codec and save the file as AVI file, it give me a big file size 950MB. What should i do to save the file without losing any quality and small file size ?!

    Best Regards,
    SB4

  2. file size = bitrate * running time

If you want a smaller file use a lower bitrate. If you're using Target Quantizer encoding, use a larger Quantizer.
