Gamma in the levels filter (to bring out shadow detail) is the main one here. You can go further but posterization and color artifacts start to show up a lot. Starting with your original video rather than a recompressed YouTube video will work better.

The attached file (h.264+AAC in MP4) was done with this AviSynth script:

Gradation Curves for VirtualDub is another good filter this type of adsjustment. It allows for all kinds of non-linear transforms.

Well, I can definately say that the most improvement in this video that is needed is your singing, you're only 14, if you took professional lessons whilst you are maturing then you can do better than some of the current K-Pop singers, but this is a very competitive industry if you are thinking of getting into, so try to be realistic on what you want to do, glamour, fame and isnt always the best or happiest way of living life.

When I meant by upload a sample, I mean by uploading the original video file itself so we can maybe play with it to see what can be done, overall I dont think that video looked to dark.

Instead of a new camera, you probably have a small light you can use to fill the shadowed side of your face next time. You probably don't want to spend money on lighting but the concepts in this video should help you with the lights you have already:

To upload the orignal file do i go to upload files/manage attachments? i did that and chose the video and it says

If your original is more than the 30 MB limit here, you can upload files of 100 to 200 MB for free with some of the file transfer services like:

After upload they will give you a link that you can paste into a message here. Others can download your file via that link.

If you don't have a light to use for filling in the shadows you can use a large white piece of cardboard, a bed sheet, or even a mirror to reflect light from the one light onto the other side of your face.
