  1. Hi,

I'm trying to join 2 ts files which has been created with a DVB encoder. I've been reading a lot of posts about this item.
I've used Tssplitter, Projectx,... The problem is that i can't create a ts file with the same structure than the original.

All softwares that i've used make changes in PES

Is there any idea about it?

    Thanks

I have done this type of operations successfully with the Transport Stream Packet Editor tool.

Too bad we don't hear much anymore about the development of this nice program.

  5. I'm going to try with TSPE. Ts Muxer and HDTVtoMPEG2 didn't work.

    They change the ts structure

  6. Thanks for your help

But I still have a problem with the TSPE. When I join two ts files I get a joined file, then i make a scan of it and log shows many mistakes in TSPE (continuity errors)
Do I have to make any changes in TSPE to correct continuity errors in joined ts?

If you scan the 2 original files you are trying to join, do they also have those continuity errors?

  8. When TSPE joins two files. I get this log:

Warning: PTS wraparound detected. If you want to fix this in the output, retry using the 'zeroPTS' parameter.
Video PTS gap of -5692,3 seconds fixed at 03:09:44 in output file, 0x178.
Section duration is 02:59:23 (269084 video frames)
    Average bitrate is 3,82 Mbps
Total time taken 230,08 seconds, write speed 21,3 MB/s
Edit complete: successfully written file with 5142229956 bytes

If I use the'zeroPTS' parameter, the joined file doesn't play audio streams with VLC.

In a second try, I get a joined file without continuity errors.

Which parameters do you change in TSPE? I have disabled all options in Edit /Table Options

When i use the TSPE tool i don't change much in the settings.
The only thing i enable when pasting/editing different TS parts/recordings is the option: 'Time Code Options/Zero Timecodes?'
If not the playback of the resulting file often can cause problems.

Of course i don't know what type of TS files you are working with.
I also have encountered some (recorded) TS files which TSPE could not handle correctly.

Did you try the older 0.760 version too?

  10. I use the 0760 version, which is in web. Do you know how can I fix the continuity errors in a ts file?

    Thanks for your help

Why don't you take the sources then and use them??
