    Hey, suppose I have my PS3 plugged in to my VCR through Composite cables and my VCR connected to my TV via Component output and also connected to a recording device via Composite Output. I'm not sure if I should expect 720p Component or 480p Composite on my TV (I'm guessing Composite), but will I at least get a less blurry image than Composite on my TV, since the VCR has Progressive Scan? What do you think? Thanks in advance!

    No. The lowest quality cable along the route will determine the quality of what you see at the end -- composite.
