Hi
I have some m2ts file that I like to convert to DVD but I have problem to convert them
I have try multiAVCHD and it work great if the m2ts file is 2.0 sound but if the file have 5.1 or 7.1 it get error and I can't do anything about it.
That is so that I like to convert m2ts 5.1/7.1 to DVD movie that have 5.1 or 7.1
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

I haven't had that problem with multiavchd.
What type of sound is it? Dolby truehd or dts hd? Try eac3to to convert to a standard definition audio format - 48khz and 448kpbs for dolby digital and 48khz 1510kpbs for dts - but you'll need a dts encoder for dts and they are not free - dolby is included with eac3to and should work just fine for a dvd.
Also if the problem persists try avstodvd. It can handle high def files and can create standard definition dvds.
Edit - also standard dvds only handle up to 6.1 audio not 7.1 - don't know if that is a factor for you but I think it should still retain 5.1 from the 7.1.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
I have look at eac3to but I'm not sure what to pick
I can create a ac3 file and mkv file but what more do I need to create a DVD as good quality as possible and with 5.1 sound?
Going to look at AVStoDVD

But please try avstodvd. It will take your m2ts as an input file. You can create a dvd for a dual layer or single layer dvdr. Dual layer will let you increase the bitrate and maintain more quality.
Remember sd dvd is 720x480 ntsc and 720x576 for pal. So even at max bitrate for dvd it won't look as good as the high def original. But it will still look good just not as awesome as the high def file.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
