hi i have tried a few things like using quicktime conversion in final cut pro to turning it into an mpeg4 before adding to the ffmpegX conversion but in pressing encode it finishes really quickly, and cuts the 2:50 version to 34secs...
anyone offer a suggetsion. My aim is to turn a quicktime movie into a flv file for a website. without any losses of image or sound....
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

1/ You could convert to .mp4 as the flash browser plugin happily plays h.264/aac .mp4 files.
2/ I would be willing to have a look at your file, to try and find the issue with it, if you could host the file somewhere for download.
