what dvd authroing sotware

is their any dvd programs out their that either dont cost an arm and a leg or are their any demo's still offered anywhere? ... it seems that everything is either way too expencive ( i'm just a home user .. not a company with a large budget ) or the demo is no longer avalible , or the company is no longer around ( maestro as an example ) .... hmmm maby i should start searching some of the open source sights *shrug* you never know .. someone may be working on a linux ver of somthing.

doesnt like 2 ac3 tracks ... a few other things that bug me ... i think i have dvd wise on one of the stacks of cd-r's i have ( i've gone through 3 100 cd-r spools in the last 9 months ) ...
