    I've the following problem.
I own a samsung omnia hd mobile, capable of recording hd videos at 720p.
When i try to play on my ps3 the produced files, it gives me an error "unsupported file type".
But if i try to play files recorded at 720x480 it works flawlessly.
So i throwed both of them to Gspot, and the only difference i can see between the two files is fps:

24 fps for 1280x720 videos, 30 fps for 720x480 videos.

Since I DON'T WANT TO REENCODE VIDEOS, is there a way to change the fps header and set it at 30 so i can give it a try?

Or otherwise is there some software to transcode it and make it ps3 compatible (i tried mkv2vob but didn't work)?

    Thanx in advance.

    24fps should work fine.

Try multiavchd and make a avhcd m2ts files that might work better. Or else reconvert with handbrake, choose the ps3 profile and convert. Or stream with PS3 Media Server.
