Hi all, total video newb here. I have a Samsung R10 camcorder which records to MP4 files (h264 video and aac audio I think). Anyway I use it to make a time lapse video in my car (with no audio) but unfortunately due to the windscreen mount I use I have to mount the camera upside down, so I need to rotate the video by 180 degrees but I do not want to have to transcode the video and risk losing quality. I have Sony Vegas 7.0 but I can't figure out how to do it without transcoding the video. I also have virtualdub but it won't open the MP4 file. Thankyou all.

Like he said. You would have to re-encode simply because each frame will now be different.
Of course you could find a way to turn your monitor upside down or even stand on your head but I would not reccommend either of those. -
You don't need to recode if you invert the image during playback.
