I'm a Music Journalist and I've interviewed a wide range of acts but lately all I've learned to use is Windows Movie Maker. I've been told by various sources that I would need to get other programs i.e. Sony Vegas Pro 8 or Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 in order to get the effects I would like to achieve. So I have done that I have those programs but I wanted to know the precise steps in editing and creating a video interview that's like these,

Notice how they have the line at the bottom of their videos with the person's name and then add various clips in between during the interview. What are the steps to create this video using Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.

Premiere Elements will do most if not all of those effects also. Some key framing, panning, title overlays, etc.
