Ok, I know how to burn dvd's and I know the difference between NTSC and PAL. But I got a new dual screen dvd player and for the life of me can't figure out why it won't read burned dvd's. To be more specific DVD-R discs. I haven't ever encountered this issue and according to everything I've found online it should read them. I use convert x to dvd 4 to burn them. Any recommendations? Because I really do not want to have to buy actual movie dvd's. My children will demolish them.

i'd try getting some verbatim or taiyo yuden blanks. not all dvd-r's are created equal. if it won't play them it won't play any burned dvds.

Is there any possibility it has anything to do with the program I'm using to burn them or the write speed I used? I will try to find some verbatim's and update what happens.
