Do it or leave it. It's your choice...

  5. Hey gediz, are you trying to burn a data cd or a vcd? If you're trying to burn a vcd, Truman is right. 720mb will easily fit onto one cd. I use 80min/700mb cd-rs, and have easily fit close to 800mb mpgs when I make my svcds without overburning them or anything.

Yeah, it sort of seems weird, but that's just the way it is. If you would actually try it, you'd be surprised.

If this is true, then why did the Ulead program warn me about not having enough Mb to load 793mb on a 656 disk? The disk says it is 74mins @ 650Mb I'm about to give up!

  7. Because 793 MB doesn't fit on a 74 min disc, even in Mode2/Form2. The limit for 74 min is ~740MB, for 80 min ~800.

Will this size CDR be large enough to also write the lead in/out?

Well, I got the larger CDR and attempted to write to it and my computer didn't recognize it. I tried again to write the movie to a regular CDR and it fit, trouble was that It didn't write the lead in or out causing my Sony DVD/VCD/SVCD player to not recognize it either. What's next or what am I doing wrong? I'm using the Ulead program.

For some reason, My burner didn't burn the lead in or out. I don't get it. Maybe I did something wrong.
