When i tried to convert a 4.3GB .mkv movie to .vob dvd file structure, avs2dvd said that i don't have enough disk space, and that i needed 8870MB. The .vob files would beoutput in a drive with 5.5GB. Should i continue anyway, the finished movie would only take up 4.3GB.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Are you assuming the output will be 4.3GB because thats what your input file is because thats incorrect..... Make sure AVStoDVD is set to output to a DVD5 and not a DVD9 by clicking on the "DVD Size" button at the top of the main window. Also get a bigger hard drive, they're cheap dude.

Never mind, i figured it out why. The software needs 8870MB for the final .vob as well as the temporary files. Is that why?.
