Is there any way to apply VirtualDub filters like Brightness/Contrast or Hue/Saturation to only specific segments within the video clip being edited? For example, in a video with 10,000 frames, applying a filter to frames 0 through 4,000 but not to frames 4,001 through 6,000 and then applying the same filter to frames 6,001 to 10,000? I haven't found any way to do this other than cutting up the video into pieces, applying (or not applying) the filters separately and then putting the pieces back together afterward, but this is time consuming and it seems like there should be an easier way. Is there?

Click on Video -> Full Processing to enable filters.
Click on Video -> Smart Rendering so you only re-encode the parts you change, and not the whole video.
Click on View -> Curves Editor to display the Curves editor at the bottom of the Virtualdub window.
Click on Video -> Filters to open the Filters dialog.
Click Add and select a filter from the list. Adjust the filter settings as required. Click OK.
Select the filter from the list, and Click Blend. The filter is now in the list of filters at the top of the Curves Editor.
Use Left Shift + Click to add points. Once added, you can select and move points to alter the curve. Each filter has it's own curve.
