  1. What are some good TV tuners that work well under Win7 64 bit, ideally with a hardware encoder and official Win7 drivers? I wished I didn't have to replace my Hauppauge PVR 150MCE but it doesn't work with over 3GB of RAM.

    Several of the Hauppauge HVR cards with WinTV7 support 64bit.

    Canopus ADVC, ADS Pyro and DV camcorders work over Firewire to WinDV.

    I installed an ATI TV Wonder card in my Win 7 X64 machine and Windows update informed me that not only were there no drivers, ATI had no intention of making any available. However, I have a bunch of USB tuner dongles and they all worked fine for analog cable and clear QAM. A first generation Technisat PCI ATSC card designed for Pentium III even worked fine. You really have lots of options to chose from.
