Has anybody had this problem and what causes it
I clean the sound (voice mono) in soundbooth, convert it to sterio and place it in the voice track of Corel video editor then burn to DVD via Nero.
The sound moves from one speaker to the other and back again for no reason, It does not seem to be moving due to bass or treble, just changes speakers in the same place when I put the DVD in any machine.

If you listen to the audio from your PC, does it do the same thing ?

What is, instead of converting to stereo, you copy the mono track, create a new empty stereo track, then paste the mono track into each channel and save the new stereo track ?

Thanks guns - wow that was quick
yes it does it on every type of playback.
ok I'll try doing as you say - I'll need to think about it - bit confusing
So I think you mean to do this in Soundbooth before I place it into Corel as Corel does not have 2 sterio tracks for voice

Yes, do it in the audio editor. A convert to stereo process should take a mono track and juct copy it into both channels evenly. It sounds like Soundbooth is trying to take a mono track and create a stereo track with faux separation and panning, and is failing badly at it.
