Hi everyone!
My camera (Canon Powershot) takes videos in 640x480 AVI files. I'm able to bring them into FC and edit them without rendering (yellow line on timeline) but if I try to change the sequence settings it doesn't work (aspect ratio is wrong). The sequence setting I have are HD 1440x1080 16:9 with Apple ProRes 422 HQ compressor. Obviously this is overkill.
How do I make the AVI files work in FC closer to what the raw file size is so I don't end up exporting HUGE files.
Thanks so much!
Catherine
