I am using an Administrator account in Windows 7 (32-bit, Home Premium) but XviD4PSP (version 5.036) will not let me alter the pre-sets to my own custom settings. A dialogue box (with the pathname of the preset) tells me I cannot make changes (if I try to change bitrate etc.) and I have to click "OK."
A few month ago I tried Windows 7 (installed the same everything at defaults) with the same version of XviD4PSP and I could change the presets to custom settings and the conversions were fine.
I am using version 5.036 as some have recommended it with Win7 as they had audio problems with higher versions.
Does anyone know what has changed (not sure if Win7 UAC has changed in updates) and how I can change the presets?
Many thanks for any replies.
