    Need help with importing h264 files into virtual dub.

    I have tried downloading h264 vfw files as it does show in virtualdubd but still get an error message when trying to install . I i have also tried changing the setting in ffdshow but still no luck. enven tried super encoder but errors still. I have Km player . dvix pro , vcl , and k lites installed so there really cant be not having a the right codec. I aslo tried using the virtual dub mob but when i try to open the moded version it never opens...........

    if any one has a solution or is willing to even upload a working virtual dub files iwould appreaciate it ( been sitting here since 5 am serching trying to get this thing to work so ill take anythinig as long as it works)...................

    I have no exact idea what you are trying to do.

    Did you try the x264 VfW?
    This work very nice here in VirtualDub.

    There's a plugin for this. Easy.
    I've attached it.
    Extract it to the /plugins32 folder in the main VirtualDub program folder.

    And then here's the full VirtualDub install that I use (preloaded with necessarily filters/plugins we use)

    Side note: NEVER INSTALL A CODEC PACK
    . That may give you other problems now.
