That is what I would like to accomplish. I am computer literate, but new to the lesser known details of digital video. I am aware that the .MOV files coming from the camera are apparently H.264 format with PCM audio?

What do I need to do to be able to burn these to a DVD-R and play them in a blu ray player? I am aware that I will probably only fit 30 minutes or less of video on a disc, but that is a lot better than having to go out and buy the blu ray burning hardware and media considering the brevity of the video segments I am creating.

With my current DVD burner, I have Nero 7 essentials. What else do I need?

I am now and its just throwing errors all over the place. Doesnt seem to work. I used the standard .MOV extension straight from the camera first, and then renamed it to .MP4 as suggested by the software, but got the same result. See below.
