    I have a Panasonic DV Tape Camcorder and it has a firewire output, however, I do not have a computer that has a firewire connection. I am looking for a way to get these DV Tapes into a computer. I could use some assistance.

    If your PC is a desktop and has an empty PCI slot, an add-on firewire card is pretty inexpensive. Here is one example http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815265002

    Or capture on a differtent computer that does have an IEEE-1394 port.
