Replacing a DVD audio track

I want to replace the original audio track of a DVD with a different one (of the same length) and preserve the exact menu structure. I know how to rip a DVD in DVD Shrink or CloneDVD, I also know how to demux/mux vob/mpeg files...and so on, but if I rip a DVD it gets split up in several vob files, not just one. Do I have to split up the new audio track respectively and mux it into the vob segments and then reauthor? Or is there a better way?

There's a better way. Demux using PGCDemux to get the M2V, AC3 (if that's what it is), celltimes.txt (for the chapters), and SUP file for subtitles (if any). Remux using your new audio file in place of the original and replace back into the original DVD. The process is spelled out for replacing a subtltle in Baldrick's guide, but the principle is the same for audio. Follow Method 2:
