    I have a DVD with menus and ten separate video chapters. I want to extract one chapter from it and burn a DVD with this chapter alone. I can see that the chapter I want to extract is split over two .VOB files. The subtitles are not in here so they must be in one of the .IFO files. I run Sony Vegas and I have obviously done away with the edited .VEG file. How do I accomplish this extraction with subtitles.

    dvdshrink in re-author mode can cut out a chapter.

    I have now tried DVDFab 7 and two video files are shown to exists on the disc and the video I want to extract is in both of the files, the beginning of it in the first file and the end in the second file. How can I proceed?

    (Will not work on new DVDs with new copy protections however)
