    I just got a 3d ready TV and my question is will I still need to wear glasses to watch movies that are in 3D?

    I hate to say it but you'll need to read the manual. I don't think any tvs work without glasses right now.

    There is the nintendo 3ds handheld game system that is coming out at the end of the year or next year that will do 3d without glasses. But I haven't heard of a tv that can do that yet.

  3. if I buy a big ticket item like this .I make sure to read/search on line for a good few weeks before I buy it.

    give it to me I will put it in good use.

    if i remember samsung was giving the 3D glasses for free with every 3D TV

    Yes, any of you who are watching the movie will have to be wearing the glasses. Usually you get one, maybe two pairs, so if you have more viewers than that, you will have to go shopping for more.

    All the units I saw at NAB have a 3D-2D switch. You can watch "3D" movies in 2D without glasses if you throw the switch.

    Is that what you were asking?
