I just got a 3d ready TV and my question is will I still need to wear glasses to watch movies that are in 3D?

I hate to say it but you'll need to read the manual. I don't think any tvs work without glasses right now.
There is the nintendo 3ds handheld game system that is coming out at the end of the year or next year that will do 3d without glasses. But I haven't heard of a tv that can do that yet.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
if I buy a big ticket item like this .I make sure to read/search on line for a good few weeks before I buy it.
give it to me I will put it in good use.
if i remember samsung was giving the 3D glasses for free with every 3D TV -
Yup, you'll need to buy some glasses. And while you're at it, buy yourself a vomit bucket and headache medicine.

All the units I saw at NAB have a 3D-2D switch. You can watch "3D" movies in 2D without glasses if you throw the switch.
Is that what you were asking?Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
