How to add new subtitle option in menu

I have a DVD that has 2 original subtitles. I want to add a new one which I already and know how to do. Now I want to add an option for that new subtitle in my menu. Example: the menu already has English and German. I want to add the option French.

Edit the menu background pic (the BMP assuming it's a static menu) to add in the new language name, edit the subpic to add in the new name, add a new menu command and button so it does what you want. This isn't exactly simple, so are you sure that using the remote control to switch to it isn't enough? Would making this new one play by default be enough?
