I have both a Vista and an XP computer neither of which would play mpg files through Windows Media Player or other Windows video programs and many others. After weeks of investigating I discovered that the culprit was Samsung PC Studio 3 software. If you have a Samsung cell phone and can't play mpg files, uninstalling the Samsung software might work. It did for me on both computers. Samsung does ntot acknowledge that this is a problem.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
