Crop a video?

Hello,

I have a 45 second long .mp4 video and i need to crop it so i get a specific part of the video producing a video clip.

Example: Below is a still frame from the original video:



and i want to crop the video so i am only left with the part in red. That way, i can import this and use it in another project.

Any ideas how i can do this?

It depends on what format your other project requires. Staxrip has an excellent visual cropping feature, as long as you want to encode to H264 or any of the other formats it supports. If you need MPEG output, you might try XviD4PSP 5.0.
