  1. First off, I use Ripit4me for most of my ripping and anydvd for the rest, then copy to dvd to burn. I'm 100% satisfied with the results and procedures.

Two days ago we had a power outage while I was burning. Immediate coaster. Up until then copy to dvd would burn DL discs. Since then it keeps telling me that it can't burn to disc and eject's it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times, numerous versions. Same thing. Could the burner itself have been damaged?

    Copy to dvd.

    Ridata and memorex.

Like I stated above, I had no problems prior to the outage. Burned many DL DVD's. It has something to do with the power outage.

Try using IMGBURN which is freeware to use for burning DVD/CD media. As for your brands of media, they are considered LOW GRADE. Use some VERBATIM DVD+R Dual Layer media before you rule out the dvd burner becoming broken after a power surge.
